DFW Airport Readies for Super Bowl Traffic

Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport has opened a new corporate aviation center designed to handle increased traffic created by Super Bowl 45. The airport wants to be ready for the thousands of corporate planes that will be flying in and out of North Texas during Super Bowl week, according to Airport Executive Officer Jeffrey Fagan.

The center, housed in the converted American Eagle terminal, will provide de-icing, fueling and Wi-Fi, among other services. "The Super Bowl will provide us with our first big test. We are expecting to see as many as 75 to 100 aircraft on the ground during the game," Fagan said. The airport has provided corporate aviation since 1974.
