Super Bowl 2011: New York Jets vs Green Bay Packers Super Bowl Bound?

Super Bowl 2011 will be played on February 06, 2011 at the new Dallas Stadium in Dallas, TX. The big question will be: Who will be the two teams participating in this year’s Super Bowl game? The New York Jets vs Green Bay Packers is a real possibility. If this does occur, it will mark the first time in NFL playoff/Super Bowl history to feature two 6th seeded teams.

After coming off a huge win over the #1 NFC seeded Atlanta Falcons, the Packers have a stout defense and excellent quarterback play from Aaron Rodgers. They will play the Chicago Bears next week in the NFC Championship 2011 game. I expect the Packers will sneak past the no-good-Bears and will play in the 2011 Super Bowl game.

With the Jets beating the Patriots today, they are going to their 2nd consecutive AFC Championship game. They are facing a team that they beat during the regular season, in the Pittsburgh Steelers. I expect the Jets to narrowly defeat the Steelers with a game winning field goal from Nick Folk.
